We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Cardiff. As a member of this vital team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments of adults at risk of abuse or neglect
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard vulnerable adults
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Advocating for the rights and best interests of service users
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, resilience, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional practice. Experience in multi-disciplinary team working and a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and policies are highly desirable.
