We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Fostering Connected Carers Team in Stockport. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to foster carers, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of children and young people in foster care Developing and implementing care plans to support the child's development Offering guidance and support to foster carers to enhance their skills and capabilities Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments

Essential qualifications and skills:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families within a social work setting.
