As an Assessing Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of kinship care arrangements to evaluate the suitability and safety of placements. Working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans. Providing support and guidance to kinship carers, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to succeed. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England). Experience working with children and families, particularly in kinship care or related fields. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
