We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Wokingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families within our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex cases, conducting assessments, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services. This role offers a competitive rate of £41.65 per hour on an Umbrella basis.
As a Senior Social Worker in the MASH Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans for children and families. Collaborating with various agencies to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding. Providing guidance and support to junior staff and students, fostering a culture of learning and development. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to statutory requirements. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, particularly within a MASH environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
