Adult's SW - Safeguarding Team - Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to vulnerable adults in need of safeguarding interventions.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk of harm or abuse
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals to promote their well-being and independence
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the ongoing safety of service users
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and outcomes

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience working in adult safeguarding or a similar field
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload

In addition to the essential requirements, candidates with experience in mental health, substance misuse, or working with older adults will be highly desirable.
