We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Fostering Assessing Social Worker to join our team in Dudley. As a vital member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting potential foster carers to provide safe and nurturing environments for children in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits and interviews. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings. Provide ongoing support and guidance to approved foster carers. Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance assessment skills and knowledge.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in assessing foster carers and placements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
