We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing referrals concerning child protection and welfare concerns.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting in-depth assessments of children and families referred to the MASH Team. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather relevant information and evidence. Developing and implementing child protection plans in line with statutory requirements. Participating in strategy discussions and decision-making processes to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Providing support and guidance to families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and partner agencies effectively. Ability to work under pressure and manage a complex caseload efficiently.

Additional requirements or benefits:

Experience working in a MASH or similar multi-agency setting is desirable but not essential. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
