We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner for Adult Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, advocating for their rights, and promoting their independence. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, to provide high-quality safeguarding services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing expert guidance and support to junior staff and colleagues on safeguarding issues. Leading multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure effective communication and coordination of services. Monitoring and reviewing safeguarding cases to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies, including the Care Act 2014. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
