We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Children's TM - Corporate Parenting Team in Devon as a Qualified Social Worker. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the care system, providing support and guidance to young people in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments and create care plans for children in care Act as a key worker for children and young people, advocating for their needs Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Participate in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as requiredEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Experience working within children's services, preferably in a corporate parenting role Strong assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements or benefits:
