Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and partner agencies Conducting home visits, interviews, and case conferences to monitor progress and ensure the safety of children Providing support and guidance to families to enhance their parenting skills and promote positive outcomes Participating in court proceedings and preparing reports and statements as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working within a Child Protection or Long Term Fieldwork team Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the social work field Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases efficiently
