Adult's SW - Safeguarding Team - Oxfordshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable adults in need of safeguarding services.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and vulnerability of adults in need.
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and service providers to coordinate support services for clients.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the adults under safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience working in adult safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex and challenging situations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to casework.

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in mental health, substance misuse, or working with older adults will be highly regarded.
