A reputable social services agency in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Safeguarding Practitioner specializing in Adult Safeguarding to join our team. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Lead and manage complex adult safeguarding cases, conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to social workers and other professionals on adult safeguarding issues.
  • Conduct safeguarding investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
  • Deliver training and workshops to staff and external partners on adult safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in safeguarding reviews, contribute to policy development, and represent the organization in safeguarding forums and partnerships.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult safeguarding within a social work setting.
