Join our dedicated Children in Care team as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in Gloucestershire! We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to support vulnerable children and young people in achieving positive outcomes within their lives. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children and their families throughout the care process. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all interventions. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure cohesive support for children in care. Advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring their voices are heard.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly in a social work context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
