As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing safeguarding assessments and interventions for adults at risk.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding concerns.
  • Conducting complex case reviews and ensuring compliance with local and national safeguarding policies.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training programs to enhance safeguarding knowledge across the workforce.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant professional qualification in social work, nursing, or allied health professions.
  • Significant experience working in adult safeguarding or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases and provide effective supervision to junior staff.
