Join our dynamic Family Assessment Team in Cornwall as a Children’s Social Worker! We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to support children and families in need. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in various settings. Your expertise will contribute to creating a positive impact on the lives of families within our community.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure ongoing support and safeguarding. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (or equivalent regulatory body). Experience in child protection and family assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
