Join the Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding & Family Support Team as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a significant impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for safeguarding and family support to provide high-quality social work services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, agencies, and community resources to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans in line with safeguarding policies. Working closely with families to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring their needs are met. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to facilitate effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and colleagues. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. Sound knowledge of legislation and statutory frameworks related to safeguarding.

Join our dedicated team in Telford as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in the Children's Safeguarding and Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) sector. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to provide essential support and safeguarding for vulnerable children and families. As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Caritas Futures is proud to partner with a leading charity dedicated to providing top-tier support services to children, young people, and young adults facing emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) Sessional Practitioner to join our team.

About the Role:

Role: Emotional Health & Wellbeing (EHWB) Sessional Practitioner
Location: Telford
Contract: 3 months temp
Hours: 15/20 hours

As an EHWB Drop-In Practitioner, you'll be part of a diverse team of professionals and volunteers, all working together to provide targeted interventions for children, young people, and young adults aged 0-25. Through early-intervention techniques, we focus on improving mental health and wellbeing, helping individuals build personal resilience, and empowering them to take control of their mental health journey.

The role is designed around low-intensity therapeutic support, following a brief intervention model. It's all about making a difference by delivering timely, compassionate care that supports young people in managing their mental health in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver drop-in sessions offering low-intensity, evidence-based therapeutic supportProvide interventions aimed at improving emotional health and personal resilienceWork within a collaborative team of mental health professionals and volunteersEmpower young people to take control of their mental health and wellbeing

What We're Looking For:

A current DBS on the update service (or the willingness to obtain one)A valid driver's license and access to a carPrevious experience in roles related to domestic violence, homelessness, mental health, emotional health, working with children and young people, or other relevant fields (or transferable skills)A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and helping them make positive changes in their lives
