Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker within the Integrated Referral Team in Gateshead. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, providing support, and ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with statutory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Engaging with families to build trusting relationships and promote positive outcomes. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in children's services, particularly in referral or assessment roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.

You need to have experience in Duty and Assessment if not previous MASH expertise. 2 - 3 days in the office, rest working from home
