The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in children's safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

The Role

The WAFH team undertakes case management following the First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointment (FHDRA), working across Public and Private Law to progress cases, complete safeguarding and risk assessments, and provide high‑quality analysis and recommendations to the Family Court.
