Join our dedicated team in Peterborough as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Safeguarding. We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring their well-being. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and community organizations to assess needs and implement effective safeguarding strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
