Key responsibilities and duties:
Providing high-quality social work services to Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Care (CIC) in Bolton. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Looked After Children (LAC) Team in Bolton. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting their well-being.

We are a large multidisciplinary team involved in complex areas of work and so there are many opportunities to be involved in formal decision making forums and court processes.
We are looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a passion for working with adults with Learning Disabilities, understanding their needs, aspirations and supporting them to enhance their quality of life.
The work will involve working with adults with a learning disability within the community to assess and support plan, as well as working with individuals with a learning disability whose needs present as a risk of significant harm to self, or others. This may include individuals who have offending histories, who have, or are at risk of having contact with the Criminal Justice System, or at risk of admission to hospital or in out of borough placements due to the complexities of their needs.
You will have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members, external organisations, service users and carers. You will have the skills to be actively involved in multidisciplinary team working and complex decision making.
