We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our dynamic CSW Team in Gateshead. In this fulfilling role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need. Your expertise will be essential in assessing situations, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure the best outcomes for the children and families we serve.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and timely records of interactions and interventions. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and support. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
