Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family situations. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Monitoring and reviewing progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans. Advocating for children’s rights and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to family support.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England). Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
