Trafford Council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our Families First (Child in Need) service. This hybrid role offers £37 per hour and the opportunity to start ASAP.

You will work on a locality basis, supporting children and families requiring social work assessments. Your responsibilities include section 47 enquiries, child and family assessments, holding a manageable caseload, and building relational partnerships to safely step down plans in line with family needs.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will coach, support, and supervise staff or students, contributing to their professional development. Candidates with UASC experience and Age Assessment training are particularly welcome.
