We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Permanent Children's Social Worker to join our Early Help Team in Southend on Sea. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to children and families in need, with a focus on early intervention and prevention.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families Delivering direct intervention and support services to children and families Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make informed decisions Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventionsThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Experience working within a children's social work setting, preferably in early help or safeguarding Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-focused approachIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in working with diverse communities and a commitment to promoting the well-being of children and families are highly desirable.
