We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our dynamic Fostering team on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in foster care. You will provide supervision and support to a team of social workers, facilitating their professional development while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and mentoring social work staff, providing guidance on case management and intervention strategies. Conducting regular case reviews and ensuring that assessments and care plans are thorough and effective. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and promote positive outcomes for children and families. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Participating in training and development initiatives to improve team performance and service quality.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with the relevant social work regulatory body. At least three years of post-qualification experience in social work, with a focus on fostering or child protection. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
