We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team on an Umbrella basis at an attractive rate of £39.04 per hour. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Providing expert advice and support to families, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and other social workers, to coordinate care and interventions.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and maintaining detailed case records.
- Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England (SWE) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Significant experience in social work, specifically within the children and families sector.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
