Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families referred to the MASH Team.
  • Collaborating with various agencies to gather information and formulate effective intervention plans.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on safeguarding issues to colleagues and partner organizations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in strategy meetings and court proceedings as required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a MASH or similar safeguarding environment.
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with families and professionals.
