In this vital role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide comprehensive support and interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for children and families. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (degree or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
