Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality social work services. Your expertise will help us ensure that children with disabilities receive the support they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and their families. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Providing emotional support and guidance to families navigating complex challenges related to disability. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of interventions. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes as required.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Additional requirements include a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
