In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding children and families, working collaboratively with partner agencies to assess and respond to concerns regarding child welfare. Your expertise will help shape effective intervention strategies and ensure the well-being of vulnerable individuals within our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with police, health services, and educational institutions to gather information and develop safeguarding plans. Providing expert advice and guidance to other professionals and stakeholders. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
