As a Senior Social Worker within the MASH Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support and intervention.
  • Collaborating with various agencies to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to junior staff and other professionals.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
