We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families facing challenges. You will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and various agencies to provide support and ensure the best outcomes for children with disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children with disabilities.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and interventions effectively.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
