We are offering an attractive rate of £39.04 per hour on an umbrella basis. As a vital member of our team, you will work collaboratively to ensure that children and young people receive the best possible care and support in their journey towards permanency.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and reviewing the needs of children and families to develop tailored care plans.
- Providing high-quality social work interventions in fostering and permanency processes.
- Working closely with foster carers, children, and external agencies to ensure the stability and welfare of children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in fostering and permanency planning within a social work context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess complex situations.
