Tower Hamlets - Senior social worker / senior pract- Initial Assessment

- Conducting initial assessments of children and families referred to social services.
- Developing and implementing care plans in line with statutory guidelines.
- Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate support services.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior social workers and students.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in child protection or social work.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with families and professionals.
