As a Children's Social Worker within the Family Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring the safety and well-being of children. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions to ensure a holistic approach to family support.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
