The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Assessment Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users to identify their needs and strengths.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for service users.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing advice and support to service users regarding available services and resources.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly in assessment and care planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care.
