As a Children’s Social Worker in the Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and assessment work within a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
