Your key responsibilities will include:
Chairing and facilitating child protection and looked-after children reviews. Ensuring that the views and wishes of children and young people are central to the review process. Monitoring and tracking the progress of care plans and interventions. Providing expert advice and guidance to social workers and other professionals. Building effective relationships with children, families, and multi-agency partners.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social care, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. You will be responsible for facilitating regular reviews of children's care plans, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and advocating for the best interests of the children you serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting independent reviews of care plans for children and young people in care. Collaborating with social workers, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care strategies.
