Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Wokingham as an Adult Social Worker, where your expertise will play a vital role in protecting the welfare and rights of vulnerable adults. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with individuals and their families to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure that appropriate support services are in place. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and risks. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and support. Advocating for the rights and wishes of vulnerable adults. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.To excel in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
