Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them navigate the complexities of services and resources available. Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments. Advocating for the rights and needs of children with disabilities within various settings.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
