As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for families in need. Your expertise will be vital in identifying risk factors, implementing intervention strategies, and providing ongoing support to children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and ongoing reviews of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in conjunction with families and other professionals. Participating in strategy meetings and case conferences to ensure effective information sharing. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they are informed and engaged in the process.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
