Join our dedicated Families First Team in Durham as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing tailored intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for those you serve. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex family dynamics and advocating for children's rights and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and stability. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A degree in Social Work or a related field, with current registration with the relevant professional body. Proven experience in child protection and family support services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families. Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in social work.

Join our dedicated Families First Team in Durham as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families in need. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing tailored support plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your expertise will help strengthen family relationships and promote positive outcomes for children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families, ensuring that interventions are effective. To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
