Join our dedicated team in Salford as an Adults Social Worker specializing in Mental Health. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, providing support, assessment, and intervention to enhance their well-being and quality of life. Your expertise will play a critical role in empowering clients to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ mental health needs and developing tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and community organizations to facilitate effective care and support. Monitoring and reviewing client progress, adjusting support plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in acute distress. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures while promoting best practices in mental health care.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in mental health social work, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Empathy and a client-centered approach to social work practice.
