We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Salford. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to individuals experiencing mental health challenges within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for service users in line with relevant legislation and policies. Providing therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and their families to promote recovery and well-being. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and external agencies, to ensure holistic care for service users. Participating in safeguarding procedures and taking appropriate actions to protect vulnerable individuals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interventions, progress, and outcomes.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a Community Mental Health Team or similar setting. Demonstrated knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and best practices. Strong assessment and risk management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
