The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - CWD Team. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.

  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
