We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Lancashire Safeguarding Adult's Service on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in protecting and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conduct assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Provide support and advocacy to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and conducting assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
