We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's AP for our Assessment Team in Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs and risks of children and families in order to provide appropriate support and intervention.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine safeguarding concerns and support needs. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies. Completing detailed reports and case recordings to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other meetings as required. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive outcomes and well-being.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.Additional requirements and benefits:
