We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Front Door Team in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Responding to initial contacts and referrals concerning children at risk of harm or in need of support Undertaking assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated support and interventions Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection, assessments, and working with vulnerable children and families Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
