We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced social worker to join our Bolton - DTM - Duty & Assessment Team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties of this position include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies Providing support and intervention services to families to address safeguarding concerns Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports

The essential qualifications and skills required for this role are:

Qualified Social Work (QSW) status and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection, assessment, and care planning Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in social work practice
