Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. Your expertise will contribute to creating a supportive environment that empowers families to thrive. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing intervention plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families to enhance their parenting skills and resilience. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills to evaluate complex situations.
