We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Lancashire. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour (Umbrella) and is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the social work field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families while ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing expert supervision and guidance to junior social workers and support staff. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Engaging with external agencies to coordinate support services and resources.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a social work setting, specifically in duty and assessment. Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation.
