We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team in Walsall. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions to adults with mental health needs, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs Providing crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate care and support services Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions and making adjustments as necessary

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with adults with mental health issues in a social care setting Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies governing adult social care
