We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in the Trafford area, focusing on Adult Safeguarding. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of vulnerable adults
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the ongoing safety and welfare of service users
  • Working closely with external agencies and partners to coordinate services and interventions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in adult safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
