We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Long Term Fieldwork / Child Protection Team in Nottingham City. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and families.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and partner agencies Conducting home visits, interviews, and case conferences to monitor progress and ensure the safety of children Providing support and guidance to families to enhance their parenting skills and promote positive outcomes Participating in court proceedings and preparing reports and statements as requiredEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working within a Child Protection or Long Term Fieldwork team Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the social work field Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases efficientlyAdditional requirements or benefits:
