We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Term Safeguarding -QSW to join our team in the East Riding of York. As a Qualified Social Worker in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and protection needed for service users. Developing and implementing care plans that address the specific needs of individuals and promote their safety. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate support services for clients. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of service users.

Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in safeguarding. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, families, and colleagues. Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage a complex caseload efficiently.

Additional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license, as some travel within the East Riding of York may be necessary.
